    Experience

I am a licensed psychologist with more than 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, couples, and groups.  In addition to my practice, I hold the position of Assistant Professor of Psychology and Counseling at Carlow University.  I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

I have trained and worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health centers, hospitals, university counseling centers, and group psychological practice.

I have 10 years of experience as a clinical supervisor working with individuals at the predoctoral and post-doctoral level.  From 2001-2008, I was the Director of Clinical Training at the Duquesne University Counseling Center, where I established a post-doctoral training program for psychologists.

My treatment approach consists of an integration of relational psychodynamic, interpersonal, and cognitive therapies.
